At the end of The Second Tale Of Bannog And Ariciel, we saw Bannog and Stetson leave for the cold hard lands of Northrend, leaving behind their girlfriends Ariciel and Mareva. This, unsurprisingly, does not please the girls. Having dropped Selena off at the Deeprun tram, they set off on a journey to sharpen their skills and satisfy their wanderlust.
At the same time, in Kalimdor, young Ellandriel is about to have the shock of her life. A young High-borne student of Mage-craft, born without permission, hidden all her life in Eldre’thalas (otherwise known as Dire Maul), is taken on a trip by her Teacher.
Hunter S’dezo’houn of Nagrand sets out on a search to find his brother, who has been turned into a Death Knight by the Lich King’s minions. If he cannot redeem him, then he may have to kill his brother so that his soul may finally rest.
Meanwhile, dark omens multiply. Prophets of Doom walk the streets of Stormwind. An enemy of old rears his ugly, metal-jawed head. Azeroth is about to go to hell in a handbasket. Life is about to get interesting. O dear.
